All alcohol and tobacco products are sold in Illinois and title passes to the buyer in Illinois. By placing the order, you authorize us to have the product shipped on your behalf by common carrier for delivery to your selected destination. Under the terms of sale, the common carrier is acting as your agent. All orders will be processed through Orchard Prime Meats in Cary, Illinois.
Delivery of Alcohol Packages
Delivery can only be made to an address where an individual at least 21 years old can sign for the shipment during regular business hours. Products can be shipped to a place of business or residence. We cannot ship to a P.O. Box or APO/FPO addresses.
Warning: Certain states expressly prohibit the direct importation of alcohol and violation can be punishable as a misdemeanor or felony.
If you do not see your state below, send an email and we will check on your current wine shipping status. Please be aware that on occasion your order may be cancelled due to your states regulations. We will notify you immediately.
We ship to the following states:
Alaska, Arizona, California, Colorado, Connecticut, District of Columbia, Florida, Georgia, Hawaii, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Louisiana, Maine, Maryland, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Mexico, New York, North Carolina, North Dakota, Ohio, Oregon, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, Washington, West Virginia, Wisconsin, Wyoming.
In addition, other restrictions may apply as some states limit the quantity and type of products that may be shipped to an individual address.
Connecticut & New York: State regulations prohibit wine and food from being shipped in the same package. Gifts & Baskets ordered that include both food and wine will be sent in two separate packages.
Texas: Texas state law prohibits us from shipping wines containing more than 16% alcohol.
Please note: Title to, and ownership of, all wine passes from Orchard Prime Meats LLC to the purchaser in the State of Illinois and the purchaser takes all responsibility for the shipping it from Illinois to his/her home state. By arranging for transportation of the wine, The Grape Wine Club is providing a service to, and acting on behalf of the purchaser. By utilizing this service from The Grape, the purchaser is representing that he/she is acting in a fashion compliant with his/her local and state laws regarding the purchase, transportation and delivery of wine. The purchaser represents that he/she has obtained any required permission, paid any required fees, is working through properly licensed intermediaries where required, is legally entitled to take possession of wine and is legally entitled to take quantities ordered and once again authorizes that he/she is 21 years of age.
You must be 21 years of age or older to purchase wine from thegrapewineclub.com. All packages sent out by The Grape REQUIRE a signature upon delivery. It is highly recommended that you provide us with a business shipping address for best service. Customer comments on their order such as "Please leave on back porch" or "Please leave at front door" will be ignored! We will not be able to refund any shipping charges if your package comes back to us because there was no adult to sign for the wine!
You will be notified by email that we received your order. If the items you ordered are out of stock, we will contact you. If the items you ordered are in stock, we attempt to ship them within 48 hours. Tracking numbers are sent to you by email from UPS and Fed Ex. Our shipping department works Monday thru Friday 7:30 am to 5:00 pm.
Credit Card Processing
When your order is placed your credit card will be charged and a receipt will be included with your shipment.
We usually ship within 48 hours from the receipt of your order. If we cannot fulfill your order we will contact you. We try not to ship product over a weekend, so if your order is received and cannot be delivered by Friday, it will be shipped on Monday. Shipments may also be delayed due to weather conditions. We ship UPS Ground, FedEx Overnight and Second Day. Weekend delivery requests may have additional charges. UPS and FedEx email tracking numbers after the packages are shipped.

Special Delivery Options
Shipping options are important because an adult signature is required for the delivery of alcoholic beverages. To ensure prompt and successful deliveries, make sure to select the shipping option that best meets your needs:
Standard: Most cost effective and best when you are not in a hurry or if you are shipping to a work address where an adult is available to sign for the package.
Evening (5pm-8pm, Tues-Sat): Best when you or your gift recipient is home most evenings. Please note this service does not allow you to choose a specific date or exact time, but will set the delivery for between 5pm-8pm, Tuesday through Saturday.
Saturday or Date-Specific: Best for gifting occasions or when you want to be sure you are there to sign for the package. Please note this service does not allow you to set a specific delivery time, but will allow you to select a specific date for the first delivery attempt to occur.
By Appointment: Select the arrival date in your order and the carrier will call the provided contact number to schedule a delivery time (generally a 2-3 hour window).
For Evening, Saturday, Date-Specific or By Appointment delivery, additional charges may apply. Not all shipping options are available in all locations and for all products. Options available for your order will appear in checkout.
Wine Clubs ship Standard. Only Standard Shipping is currently available for our Wine Clubs. Initial Wine Club shipments will arrive within 5 business days of processing.
Select Shipping Options in the Confirm Order step of the shopping cart: In the final stage of the checkout process (before you place your order).
Note, not all shipping options are available in all locations or for all products. Only the options available to your delivery destination will appear.
Standard UPS charges only. To save on shipping, we highly recommend shipping 6 and 12 pack orders only.
BASKETS or COLLECTIONS: The rate will vary based on size, weight and contents. The standard rate for each selection will be reflected in the shopping cart and will update as items in the cart are updated.
Alaska & Hawaii Deliveries:
For shipping to Alaska and Hawaii, $10.00 will be added to the shipping method you select. Free shipping offers do not apply.
Only Standard Shipping is available for Wine Clubs. Initial Wine Club shipments will arrive within 5 business days of processing.
During extreme temperature (hot or cold):
Shipping and handling charges may be slightly higher for wine shipments to cover rapid delivery to minimize the chance of damage. This additional cost would be reflected in the shopping cart at checkout.
Note: Select merchandise may require additional shipping charges which will be reflected at checkout.
The Grape Wine Club is committed to 100% customer satisfaction! If there is any problem with your order, we want to hear about it. Please note, any problems with the receipt of your package must be called in to us within 7 days of the delivery date! If you suspect the bottle is bad, please just put the cork back in the wine leaving the contents of the wine in the bottle. We can't take back any empty bottles! If you find any errors regarding type of wine and vintage, please call our customer service department at 847-204-9758 or send an e-mail to email@example.com right away. The Grape Wine Club will arrange to have the package picked up and returned to us right away for inspection. Once the package is returned to us, we will inspect the contents and then send out a replacement package to you. For this reason, it is vital that you let us know of any error immediately to ensure the fastest delivery of your new shipment.
